ENVIRO+ R17 is a premium full synthetic, SAE 5W-30 engine oil developed for service of Renault and Nissan vehicles that require Renault RN17 specifications. It uses advanced mid SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulphur)* additive technology for ultimate engine protection.
It meets API SP and ACEA C2/C3 as well as many other manufacturers’ specifications.
APPLICATIONS
ENVIRO+ R17 is designed for use in modern 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged low emission engines including those fitted with/without DPF’s (Diesel Particulate Filters) and GPF’s (Gasolene Particulate Filters).
ENVIRO+ R17 may be used where SAE 0W-30, SAE 5W-30 and SAE 10W-30 grade oils are recommended in the owner’s handbook. It can be used where ACEA C2 or ACEA C3 oils are specified by the manufacturer and meets the fuel economy* requirements of a C2 oil whilst maintaining the wear protection of a C3 oil. It can also be used where API SP or previous specification API SN Plus, API SN or API SM grade oils are required.
ENVIRO+ R17 is recommended for use in Euro 6d Renault group engines that require RN17 specification. It can also be used for most modern direct-injection turbocharged engines, especially high-performance engines with DPF’s or GPF’s requiring either ACEA C2 or ACEA C3 oil. It has excellent emulsion properties to combat moisture and corrosion in plug-in (PHEV) and conventional (HEV) hybrid vehicles, as well as Extended Range Electric Vehicles (EREV), which are equipped with both petrol and electric engines.
VEHICLE & FUEL TYPES
ENVIRO+ R17 can be used in passenger cars, 4WD’s & light duty commercial vehicles and is compatible with Petrol, Hybrid, PHEV, LPG, E10, diesel, biodiesel and most other conventional fuels. It is not recommended for use in four stroke motorcycles with wet clutches.
